My employer has changed my hours. I don't like it. Now its 12 hours on Saturday and 11 on Sunday. 9 on Monday , 2 hours thursday and 5.5 on Friday. They took away my only break for the entire week (1 hour break on Saturday) (used to work 10.5 hours on Sat and Sunday with only 1 hour break on Sat) and no break on Sunday or monday.

I do not want to come in for 2 hours on Thursday! Its stupid

What do I do? I'm not sure if this kind of work even gets a break

I applied for a job in Shanghai (I'm based in the Philippines), and was interviewed over the phone. Will they still require me to got to Shanghai in person to be interviewed again? What is the probability that I'll get hired based on just a phone interview?

Also, they required me to submit 3 reference letters. Will these help?

hi all, i 15 years old, and teach snowboarding lessons at a small ski area in maine. I got my paycheck looked at it and then put it in my bag. went out to teach the actual lesson and came back, packed up and went home. looked where i put the check and it wasnt there.?!

I work from 7pm - 7am and I was just wondering if someone can help to figure out what can I do on my nights off? That way I dont go to sleep and get my schedule all mixed up. I've already tried the internet and movies and nothing on tv! Help.

I work in Advertising for the local newspaper as a receptionist and am board and frustrated..... I am interested in starting a community newsletter as the paper is more interested in making money than giving the public useful information on whats on, where etc could anyone advise me on this I would have the support of the local community centre but funding is not currently available

I work for a small firm (under 20 employees). Recently, changes were made to my hours (my job differs from other employees' jobs) without my input.

The changes are not acceptable to me in the long run. They don't fit with my family responsibliities. But, I can live with them for awhile.

Would you start looking for a job elsewhere? Or, would you try to discuss these changes with your employer?

I am afraid that if I discuss my concerns with the employer, our relationship might "sour" during the time that I am looking elsewhere for a job. That could be quite uncomfortable.
