Here is the problem. I loved my job, but the owner decided about 6 months ago to bring his wife in to be office manager. Needless to say, she is worthless as far as a manager goes, and she shouldn't be one. She is never here, so nothing gets done that she is supposed to be doing, and no one gets their questions answered. Therefore, the company is going downhill fast and I no longer like my job. Is there a way I can talk to the owner about this even though it is his wife that I am complaining about? Please help!

At school today, I was feeling many sharp pains in my foot after gym class. Turned out that I had 3 splinters, probably because I walked trough the locker room shoeless afterwards. So I went to the nurse. They saw that I was limping, but refused to do anything so they could eat lunch. So I sat there for 15 minutes with no attention, whatsoever. Once they finished, they asked what the problem was. I showed them. So she cleaned off a pair of sharp tweesers, and threw them at me and stated "Here. Take them out yourself". I was truely appaled at what they did. For they never did a thing to help. AND SHE THREW THEM AT ME. I was also annoyed that she made me do it myself. THIS WAS UNCALLED FOR. DONT YOU AGREE???

I hate to move but there's real good jobs on the outside of town where I stay more high paying than the crap where I stay at right now. I hate moving, and I feel comfortable here where I am already but financially there's better opportunity for me 40 miles away. Would you go back and forth to work everyday at such a distance in order to keep the high paying job and still live where you wish? I know some people to have drove like 20 miles to work from where they live but I believe I'd be the first to drive 40 miles to work everyday. Anyway would you?

I am always motivated about what I want to do. When it comes to paperwork I procrastinate. I know work is alot easier if you stay on top of things but I hate doing paperwork.

My sister is a new mom and is wanting to make some extra money because her husband is in college so they aren’t living on an income. But she does not want to leave her baby. Meaning she wants something that can be done at home, or that she can bring her little girl to. Any good ideas?
Thanks, your answer is much appreciated!

I was just wondering.. if you never pick up a paycheck, what does the employer do with it? Do they just take the money back after a certain amount of time or does it just sit there forever?

A few weeks ago I saw a job that I am pefect for. I have taken the following steps.

1. I submitted a cover letter and resume via the companies website.

2. I wanted to snail mail my resume to a recruiter at the company, so I did some research and found the name of a recruiting supervisor. I then snail mailed my resume and cover letter to the recruiting supervisor.

It's been a few weeks now and I've heard nothing back from the company or the recruiting supervisor. I'm thinking of giving the recruiting supervisor a call and asking her when they are planning to start scheduling interviews.

What do you think, should I make the call? Please keep in mind that the recruiting supervisor never listed her name on the job posting and I found her purely via my own research.

My thought is that I have nothing to lose.

I've done some research and have found the contact information for one of the companies local recruiting managers. I snail mailed a copy of my resume to the manager
