If you really want to get into the FBI it is best to be a lawyer or accountant. However, they do like a broad range of experience. Don't think that you need to get a Criminal Justice to be an agent. The FBI is really glamorized but it isn't all the great fun that you think it is. I would find a local field office and talk to one about your ideas. Knowing a few agents I can tell you that they wish they went to a different agency because they deal with a lot of paper work, tax law and so on.

There is absolutely no way you'll be competitive for an FBI position without a four-year college degree.I bet whomever told you that you didn't need a degree was a cop and not an FBI agent. For any open slot, there will be lots of cops with four year degrees applying. You wouldn't even make the first cut. Go to school, get your degree. Lots of cops do that.

FBI special agents have all sorts of degrees. Most agents have 4-year degrees in criminal justice or related field, but there are also agents that specialize in computers, accounting and other business-related crime, pollution, endangered species, foreign languages, and more. Special agents work for many agencies besides the FBI. Here's a link to carrers in the FBI - also info on internships:

it's not like in the movies, lol, you sound like you've seen a lot of movies, the FBI is mostly paperwork, you can probably meet someone and they'd tell you how it is like, they often have recruitment conferences, but it is NOT like in the movies that's for sure you will probably will be on a desk most of your career.
