I am always motivated about what I want to do. When it comes to paperwork I procrastinate. I know work is alot easier if you stay on top of things but I hate doing paperwork.

obviously being a marine you cant hire an assistant, and staying motivated shouldn't be a problem with your co on you if you lack behind. As to your paperwork dilemma. Do the paperwork that takes the least amount of time first. It seems to go the quickest and you seem to get the most done that way. You being in Africa may not be able to run to staples but there are ways you can get yourself organized just by using what you a have at your desk with sticky notes and paper clips. It may seem silly but you do with what you have my mom always says. Try to enjoy your job more it may make it easier. And Thank You Sir for serving our country

You know you're gonna have to do it...Get some kind of routine going to where it's just part of the daily routine. I think paperwork sucks too, but I got in the mindset that I'm stuck with it, so I figured how to deal with it! And try to stay organized...the more you procrastinate, the more it piles up right?, then that's when it becomes a pain in the rear.

you can go to staples and buy different types of organizating supplies. This will help you make your work space more organized. To keep interest, I always have to file paperwork and I hate it. I usually listen to music (ipod) so time passes by quicker. I would file to the beat of the music (but not bopping in public where your coworkers think you have a spasm or something).

Also, paperwork is very important in the business so think of it like an honor to help the OFFICE to become more organized.

Ikea has alot of orginazation tools. Another way to stay motivated is not to get something you really want untill you finish your work. I had the same propblem. I would lose paperwork and coudnt organize my time. When doing paperwork mabye you could hire some one to do it for you!Just some thoughts.

Become a lifeguard at a nude beach. Organization will no longer be a problem because the only paperwork you'll be doing is in the mens room, and I can guarantee you that you will be more motivated.

Celebrate when the paperwork is over. You need to train your mind that rewards come after the work is done. I usually have a candy bar or something afterwards.

Make a daily plan.

Follow it.

Your job is not just a place you go to stay out of trouble during the days; it's what you DO. Do something you love.

Set yourself goals and time limits. It feels so good when you have everything taken care off and keeping yourself busy with stuff makes the time go much faster

when you get to work , jump right in doing a specific goal . sometimes it is difficult to get jump started on something that your not finding much fun in , however, if you force yourself to get started right away , you'll find yourself doing more than you have ever done.
