Depends on your current situation:

Do you own your home? Need assistance in selling it?
Do you want to buy a home? Need assistance in finding one?
Do you need temporary housing?
Do you need help with finding/managing the moving company?
Travel (Air/Rental car/Hotel)?

If you can move yourself without assistance and pocket some of the money, go for it. Relocation is a tough and takes a lot of time to coordinate. I am a corporate relocation counselor (the guy you would talk to if you chose relocation). Email me if you have questions, slow day here.

pick the one that will allow you to have the most money left after the move. either way you will have to pay taxes on both.

I love being a high level engineer as I get both...
