know the feeling well , you must have got great help and you are ok, and want to help others. this happened to me and iwanted to do the same, at the time i wasnt allowed to my argument was well youre cure or treatment wasnt that good if you dont trust itbut that was just the way it was. mine wasnt in the actual same clinic but in the health service as a whole, all i can say is you must be a lovely person to care so much and to ask the question i think the so called health profesionals should be asking the same question. good luck

I have a friend from my local church who was a patient in a mental health hospital..he got well and now is training in the same place to help others..This was suggested to him while he was in hospital from other workers and doctors there that he would make a good pychiatric nurse...Sometimes you can relate a lot better to people having similar issues and problems..If you have been there yourself.
