Enough that I keep putting off finding a job that actually pays well enough to live on. I'm a home support worker and the pay is pretty bad but the personal reward of helping people is priceless.
Due to a lot of cancellations over the Christmas holidays I only will get paid for 17 hours tomorrow instead of the usual 60 for the 2-week period.

I used to hate my job til they laid me off and hired me as a contract employee. I don't have enough hours and no benefits, but I really like the work now. Reason: my attitude. I used to have unreasonable expectations. I used to expect people to change. I used to expect people to listen to me and make me feel good about my performance. I don't expect much, now, except a paycheck for hours worked. I do not get involved in office politics. I do not feel responsible for the direction of the company. I am much happier and enjoy working along side my co-workers. When a company is just business, stay in that mode and take care of your own business and go home. A wise elder worker had tried to teach me that lesson and I only learned it when I was laid off.

All I can say is that if they offered a buy-out to the retirement plan here so I could leave without losing major money, there'd better not be anyone standing between me and the exit. Because they'd have my footprints all over them as I trampled my way outta here!

Not that much but I like it cause I can practice drawing. Lots of free time! Well, not free, but nothing to do soooo, drawing is good!!!
