When you apply for a job does it matter how your credit is? I have bad credit and I have been applying for jobs but not 1 have replied back. Is that because of my credit?

The work is extremly physically demanding and the long hours that you put in are tough. I cant stand my boss because he belittles you when you even when your doing a good job so he can squeeze more work out of you. Ive just about had enough. I didnt go to college though and I dont know if I should take a lower paying job. I also have kids that I have to support. I sometimes think I should find something else because the stress is taking its toll on me.

I currently do marketing / html pages for a company. I have been doing this for 10 years so *trust me* things do not take long.... How do you spend your free time if you run out of work?

I hate running myself out of work. I feel guilty for browsing the web but my work is done.. I asked for more work but nobody sends it.

i want a new job but it's not practical to take days off work or call out to go on interviews. last time i interviewed 90% of the jobs were bogus such as marketing headlines so i wasted tons of time.

I was just wondering how exactly someone could get into the automotive business as an engine developer for a company such as Nissan or Honda. I am currently a freshman at UCLA as an aerospace engineer (which is closely related to mechanical) and wanted to know what steps i would have to take to get a job at a car company as an engineer for engines/parts/chassis. i'm not sure yet, but am more interested in engines at the moment. i realize knowing the "right" people is a plus, but as of now i know no one that could help me. ur answers are appreciated. thanks. and have a good day.

Here's a visual copy of my resume with vital information about myself crossed off: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v637/FaZizzle/Resume1.jpg

Originally it didn't lead to this file, hence the first deletion.

Anyway, no porn. No gimmick. Just a resume I would like to improve.

1) Would you consider technical writing to be a type of business writing?

2) Job requiers "1-2 years experience in technical writing or documentation" -- I just graduated from college, and I have spend the last 3 years working with technical documentation. Enough to be considered or enough to be laughed at?

(1) The interview went well and they liked my presentation. (2) I sent a followup letter to both people at the interview, and they were well received. (3) I called today and they hinted that it was "looking good for me" but they couldn't promise for sure and would decide on Wednesday next week. Can anyone suggest what I could do for a final followup that could help get me over the goal line?
