Here's a visual copy of my resume with vital information about myself crossed off: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v637/FaZizzle/Resume1.jpg

Originally it didn't lead to this file, hence the first deletion.

Anyway, no porn. No gimmick. Just a resume I would like to improve.

Obviously I forgot to say this--this isn't the completed version. I still have experience and computer skills to add.

Thank you all!

This looks good, however I have a few comments:

- Your "foreword" talks about how you have proven skills and success in journalism, however you don't ever really get into what specifically your skills are, and how you have successfully demonstrated those skills. I assume if you have relevant work experience, you would have included it. Since you did not, I would expand on your campus activities and involvement.

- I would stick to just one quote -- two seems like overkill.

- The divider lines are a bit distracting -- I would take them out. You have enough going on with the different size fonts, bolds and italics to make it visually appealing.

One of the things I think you've done well with is to not explicity state EVERYTHING that you've ever done that could be important to a potential employer. You give a fair amount of information that will lead the employer to ask questions. When you're in the interview, that's your opportunity to really speak to the details.

This is a very nice resume. Good luck with the job search. I always recommend www.monster.com. That's how I found my last two jobs.

At the top I would add a section that outlines your career goal. What job position are you looking for. In addition to that you have not added any work experience. Even if the experience is not relevent to the feild you are pursuing it shows you can be responsible. Othere than that it looks good to me.
