Where I trained this girl who used to work for me, now she has my job, and we are equal on the chain of command, she is in charge of Customer Svc, while i am in Charge of the Company A/P-A/r, but she is a total %^&*#, and treats me like she is my boss!! She forgets where she came from so to speak... And reported me to my boss, not that my boss said anything to me as he has too much class for office bs... but she thinks too much of herself... Should I just ignore it, being the better person or..

I agree with united919...! So do that.but... Wouldn't a batch of Ex lax cookies be oooh soooo much more appropriate(and Fun)?

I would first ask your boss the exact chain of command to make sure you have a correct understanding of your working relationship with this girl.

After you ask your boss the question and get the correct answer, you can then say..."Well I think she is confused about her position and in some way believes she is my boss...is there any way you could straighten this out? It is causing a quite bit of difficulty between us."

NO, ignoring problems result in causing them to grow. Ask your boss to make a formal decision to resolve the employee discontent. Or find a job elsewhere and when you turn in your resignation, state it is because of the ill treatment. Name names.

I would avoid any type of fight with this woman and avoid every opportunity to bash her. If you take the high road, others will surely see the situation. Don't let her get your goat. It is not worth it and it does not matter in the big picture.
