(1) The interview went well and they liked my presentation. (2) I sent a followup letter to both people at the interview, and they were well received. (3) I called today and they hinted that it was "looking good for me" but they couldn't promise for sure and would decide on Wednesday next week. Can anyone suggest what I could do for a final followup that could help get me over the goal line?

You've done enough to 'clinch' the job. Any more will look like nagging.

Wait until next Thursday, if you haven't heard by then, and give the most senior person you talked to a call and ask if a decision is made. If it's still not decided, reiterate you're interested in the position.
