It seems most places only employ at 16+. Does anyone know of any types of establishments or places that would employ a 15 year old? I'm assuming Pizza Hut, McDonalds, etc, etc, are all 16? Would there be any way of fiddleing it? Do they check?

Ok so the job is getting a little unbearable - I am on a 3 month temporary contract but I get the feeling they will ask me to stay. What happens if you never go back or if you walk out? Can they send someone after you?

Do you ask this question in the first interview? I really don't know if they only have one interview or if they will have two or more. I'm having an interview on Monday and am only interested in the job if they up the pay within 90 days and have GREAT beneftis. I don't want to go in there with a chip on my shoulder, but these are things I would need to know if I were to accept the position.

one i saw a chap doing in Amsterdam.
You know those video cabin places where you can go in and watch all kinds of 'Dutch comedies, Swedish saga's, German dramas etc...' Well, as you may know, some fellas feel the need to 'relieve themselves' in the cabin, and they're none to bothered about any spillage.....
I think the worst job in the world is a 'cabin cleaner' in Amsterdam.
Does anyone have any examples of jobs which are worse than this?

I just got back from a meeting at my job. I work very hard and try to do my best but our company just makes things tougher for us although most of us only get 30 hours and make less than 7 an hour. We have these secret shop things. We are constantly short staffed and we all end up doing mutiple things. It is easy to remember to ask all the questions and put on the phony act we have to, to the customers and to try to push them into something they don't want but when I am overworked and have 3 customers at the same time and 2 projects due at the end of the day and have to answer the phone and alll, I can't always remember to push stuff on all the customers. I am supposed to push the customers that come to my register to buy something from the register area. If they wanted a candy bar or a chapstick, I'm sure they would pick it up and it just sounds silly to push it on someone who is buying a binder or a telephone. And when you are sick, you don't always feel like being pushy.

my brother got a job in a factory thru an agency over a year ago.
in august the company took him on as a permanant member of staff.

his mate got promoted to supervisor and he goes to managers meetings.
there was a meeting on friday afternoon. his mate said that the main manager spent over 10minutes of the meeting slagging my brother off. he said that as soon as he can afford to get rid of some staff my brother will be the first one on the list.

my brother has been working loads of overtime.
he isnt late.
and until now he thought everything was ok.

he is now worried that he is being singled out incase they find a reason to sack him.
what should he do?

I have heard it is not good to ask, what do you want to know?. It is such an open ended question which makes it a bit confusing to answer. How do you handle this?

This is my senior year at my high school. And school's almost finish, well, more then half the year's finished. So we just got a little more time until I graduate. I have a huge interest in writing, and journalism. I was in the newspaper club every year in high school, and after high school I'm moving to New York to go to NYU. I want to become an Editor for a good magaine such as Seventeen or Cosmogirl. I know if I work hard I can accomplish my dream. My brother, is overprotective of me. (What brother isn't? .... Looking out for his little sister and all) but he doesn't want me to become an editor because he think sit doesn't pay well for me. (Does it?) He always tells me that I should something else, but the truth is ... I wouldn't be happy doing anything else. What should I do? ... Also, does it pay well?!
