I'm a chinese malaysian. After all these terrorism activities around the world, i was wondering if it is possible for a malaysian who earned an engineering degree in US to work in US?

Sure why not. The only thing is you need to find an employer who will sponsor you for your visa, whether you go through the temporary employment visa route such as H1B or the employment immigration process. Since you have earned a US degree, it is easier for you to find employment because the employers could easily ascertain the quality of your education.

But you must have the working visa first. Apply to potential employers and see where and who can sponsor you.

Yes, I work with some Malaysians. They got their degree here and stayed here. I am not an expert though on what government paperwork you would need to apply for in order to be legal though.
