I got an email from Ms Andrea Mattson-Fishmann, HRD Training Director of Agilent Technologies, Inc.-USA, as what she said in her Email, that I am qualified to work in their company in the CA, USA and to undergo an IQ test and comprehensive training here in Metro Manila, Philippines. She mentioned in her email about the benefits and compensation package and its very convincing to those who are looking for the job and to earn dollars is a big deal. She also cited in her email that they have sattelite office in Cebu at 11th/F Keppel Tower, Cebu business Park, Cebu City, with their representative Mr. James Castillo and secretary Ms. Jane Solomon. Guys, if you have the same as this kind of unbelieving story from Ms Mattson-Fishmann please leave any message at Brazz_29@yahoo.com

His friends/family would frown upon it, and all the crap that probably comes along with that profession (i.e. drugs, etc). But, he says he thinks he has something to bring to the table, and it's his dream job. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

A month ago, I resigned from a job I was at for seven years due to personal differences with one of the overlookers (no grudge between us though; gave him my 2 week notice and left). It was a roofing job that I helped out at, usually doing accounting and figuring roof plans, etc.. (7.50 an hour peaked).

Anyway, I'm 20 now, and a sophomore in college with a 3.5 GPA. I go fulltime and this is my first time really looking for a job so probably will get something at a grocer or superstore, something such as that.

I want to work either fulltime afternoons on the weekends or weekdays on night shifts (I love the night so staying up all night is of no difficulty and a preference). How strict are places about parttime jobs and your schedule? How much should I expect to get paid? $6.00 or $7.00 hr, etc?

One more thing, I have no interest whatsoever in being an architect or accountant. I am becoming a computer science major.

Thanks.

I take the personality test on tuesday and I was wondering has anyone ever taking it before? If so could you please give me some input on how it was and what I should look out for. This question also goes out to anyone who has ever taking a job personality test as well. Thanks so much!

I don't want to work for a farm so don't suggest something like that but give me ideas and advice on something's I can do to clear at least 800.00 a week.

Also, does anyone know where are all the major hubs to start training?

p.s. i live in CT.

Long story made short, I graduated 7 months ago and got my first job at a printing compnay. I had no intentions of staying here only using it to make money until I got a better job. (They were only paying me $11/hr, which was rediculous.) Friday I got hired at a new job and tomorrow I get to go give my two weeks notice.
What should I say?
(Besides the tempting, F*ck you, I'm out!) Ha ha ha...
No, I want to be proper and professional...

Sometimes, because I feel that I need to have every detail taken care of, I go to my boss or to other co-workers and ask them for their opinion on what I am doing. I feel that I am projecting an image of lacking self-assurance. I have also been assigned with new tasks which I find challenging and because of the fear of failing, I find myself projecting insecurity and hesitation to managers within the "upper management" echelon. What suggestions would you give me to hide or, at least, project a little more confidence in my ability to carry out my tasks? I know I have the talent and the know-how, I just need to project that a little more.

Well, I've been working at a grocery store for 6 months and I'm 17. I've made it pretty clear before that I cannot work 6 day weeks and more than 20 hours a week because I am also still in school. I keep getting 6 day weeks and 25-30 hours a week. I'm tired of it, I've talked and complained to my boss. I'm quitting. But the catch is that I want to quit tomorrow, as in call up and say I'm going to quit, I don't want to work the oh lets see ..REST OF THE 5 DAYS I HAVE SCHEDULED this week because I have reached my breaking point and I'm going to go insane if I work any longer there. I miss my friends, I miss my family, I miss eating dinner with my family. Simple appointments and assignments are out of the question because I'm always working.

I have been going back and forth to interviews for about a almost two weeks- for the same company! Tomorrow i have to go in to see the person who makes the final decision on whether or not i get hired.

I went in the first time to fill out an application
The second time for an interview
The third time to take a test
and this will be my fourth time- to speak to the final person(i hope)

Does any one think that i have a good chance of getting this job?
And, what are some ways to make another good impression , or some tips to improve my chances of getting hired?

Thanx!
