You should tell them "Pays less per hour than I was paid in high school 13 years ago shelving books at the local library. I'm 30 now" Okay well not exactly.... Is a verbal commitment legally binding? Find that out. As long as you don't sign anything, you can skip that job should you get a better one. If it won't get you into trouble(i'm not sure how binding a verbal agreement is where you are from), just lie and say yes i will give you a year. You could also take the job and when you get a new job, just not show up to that one. Do something crazy. Yell at your boss. Ta Da! They'll fire you and you have no need to quit.

It depends on your personality type. If you are outgoing and like to be amongst people most of the time then you could become a publicist, an advertising executive or an entrepeneur.
If you like to work by yourself in peace and quiet then you could become an engineer in any of the major fields or a research scientist.

some sort of doctor specialist like an eye doctor. those get paid well and help people but for fun, helping people, and paying good i think some sort of FBI or CIA agent probably. of course you see some pretty gruesome things but otherwise it seems like a good job. im gonna be an engineer some day. design cars and auto parts. i love cars. good luck

Nursing. There are plenty of different areas that you can choose from also. Of course, I don't know which one I want to get into, but I want to be able to have fun and make people feel better.
