I am looking into doing home inspections for insurance companies. I have a extensive construction and maintenance background. Is this a hard profession to get into and is it true it can pay better than 40 dollars per hour.

I'm actually getting the minimum pay because they derived it from my previous job which offered a discounted pay since it is in the countryside. How do I tell these corpo people that I need a raise without really getting them offended.

I had always figured I would be a biologist, because there is a future in it. I don't actually like math or science. I like a bunch of things, but those jobs don't have a secure future. I want to do what I like, but I want to have a job that has a future in it. What should i do?

I am a recent grad who received a good job offer. People ask me how much did I get/how much I am going to be making, and I do not want to share this information (with everybody). What is a nice way to avoid answering the question? What should I say so that I do not seem rude yet make it clear that I will not disclose my salary?

I think it's a scam and I don't care what anyone says. I wish they would just stop already.

My sister works in a grocery store as a bagger. She is training to be a cashier so they put her up there one day at the register. One customer yelled at her because his groceries were "bagged incorrectly." She didn't even bag his groceries. The next person yelled at her because he didn't get the right size box of cereal that was on sale. She told him she could send the bagger to get the right size and he started yelling saying the sale sign was next to that box. Another customer yelled at her because she was scanning to fast even though she's supposed to. My sister is having second thoughts about doing this now. Is this supposed to happen?

I am 19 years old. I have worked at Borders, Red Robin, and currently I'm employed by Barnes and Noble part time. I go to school full time, and will also next semester, but next semester I will only be going Tuesdays and Thursdays. I do not want to quit my current job. I want a second one because I'm not getting enough hours.

Where should I apply to work at? I wont be applying until after Christmas in mid-Jan. I'm good with people and would rather interact with others than do some boring job, or one that includes menial labor. I also want to work after Christmas is over and not just end up jobless afterward, though it's probably too late to apply for Christmas help anyway.

I do not want to work with clothes or in a resturaunt.

Employers, you have an employee that has run off at least 10 good employees over the last few years by just being mean and rude to them. She is a horrible gossip too, talking badly about everyone behind their back. She does her job perfectly otherwise. Another problem is that you know she has a history. Her 35 year old son committed suicide 4 years ago, and she's quite bitter about it. She takes this out on all other employees, but she's the perfect angel towards you and is a reliable employee. Ok, you just lost your 11th employee because of her, what do you do about it?

What do you do when your supervisor always is on your
case to do better no matter how hard you are trying, you
never miss work, your never late, you do not abuse sick days.He tells you at reviews your work is unsatisfactory.
He chews you out everyday,if it is not one thing he finds
another thing to chew you out about. You play by the rules.
Is the problem him or me?
What can you do to resolve the problem?
