What about being a referee for Soccer or another sport? I did that when I was 16, and I made some decent money! You also get to choose when you want to work or not.
Otherwise, try somewhere like Jamba Juice, EB Games, a movie theater, grocery store, or Toys R Us.

My daughter loved her job at a local large grocery store. It was easy to get a job there. The corner convenience store job the summer before was much less fun.
