It depends on the type of work. For instance, if you become emancipated tomorrow and apply for a job waitressing where the company receives a certain percentage or more of its sales from alcohol, then no. You would have to wait until you are legal age to drink before obtaining that position, but if you are looking to work say at the pet store, and they want a legal adult because of running the cash register, then with your emancipation papers, it shouldn't hold you back, although you still may not obtain the position because of lack of experience.

Sure, you can become a legal adult when you are one. ???? What kind of question is this? What kind of job are you looking for? A cashier in a supermarket? Your qualified for that, An investment banker? You may need to go to school for a while longer. Real jobs tend to want a college educated adult, while this may seem riduculous to you now, the reasons will become clear once you are in the workforce. A lot has to do with maturity and how you handle different situations. Don't rush yourself into adulthood. It's not all it's cracked up to be. Take your time and do it right.

No, but you can become an emancipated minor. Not quite the same thing, but as close as you can get, unless you are charged as an adult in a crime, which you don't want!
