My mother always said "when you don't have a job your job is too find one."

I have always used this and apply it to when I wake up until when my typical workday would be done. With this I have always put together a nice clean resume and made numerous copies to hand out. As a manager I am always surprised these days when a prospective candidate has not even taken the time for this. Also I make sure I look clean and professional. When I apply for any position I look it as a marketing time. This is my "first impression" on them and it is important. I speak clearly and always want to speak to the manager/ decision maker as to make sure my resume and application get to the right person. If I can I request to schedule an interview. For the interview date I put on a nice outfit and show up 10-15 minutes early. If possible I research who I am applying with as well to show I have taken time to learn about their company. After my interview I always follow up the next day with a thank you call. This has always worked well for me.

Keep searching classifieds, career web sites, networking with friends, family, and schools, as well as attend job fairs. Unfortunately, you might also keep an eye on the obituaries. Companies need to stay productive even when they lose an employee.

First off try to find a job with a friend or their parents...an in is the easiest way to land a job..Then if that doesn't work then make your resume creative...and finally tell them that teamwork is important and that you have transportation.
