I'm a freelance editor/writer and I work at home. I've got lots of good contacts and all the work I ccould want right now. The problem is that I cannot concentrate. I don't know if I've lost interest in my line of work, or if I've developed ADD, or what. It's so frustrating because I have always wanted to work for myself but I can't seem to do it very well! Help?

I've worked in a hairdressers for just over a year and on a hairdressing course in collage, but my boss just gets me to do the cleaning all the time and does not train me up. When he is in a mood he does not talk to me, he just talks to the other staff and ignores me.

I think the teacher has done great job this morning at Metro (London)
I was thinking about the way the TV presenters systematically bullying staff for a aggressive marketing work which causes so many issues for youngsters and other employees accros the world. What do you think? What about Simon, Sharon and Luis in X Factor .. are they doing the same stratergy?

I had a second interview yesterday. I think it went well, but I am not sure I answered his questions the way he wanted. He told me that he would be making a decision by the end of next week. He also told me that he has several great canidates including myself and the decision would be a tough one. He did mention that a few internal employees are also applying for this position. It is so draining looking for a new job. I hate rejection

I have chosen to do engineering, though I was tempted to go for the music industry or psychology but it was risking for me to go because i dont much background in them both. And also the end product look good but doing it, is not funny. Anyway, I chose engineering because I have the background. But I find it extremely difficult to motivate myself. Its like I am lazy sometimes and it scares me. I am also on medication which makes me sleep alot. I always take it because I am allergy to stress with causes mental illness. Any advice on how to cope and deal with it. Thanks for your co-operation.

My problem is work related. Right now my coworkers are in a meeting about new student orientation. I work at a community college and I am the presenter at orientation. However, i was not invited to the.meeting I feel left out. I'm part time and treated like a second class citizen. I have no phone, no desk, no email. however, I'm a college graduate! the part time service aid (who's a student) has a cubicle. WTF!!!
but that's not the problem right now. The service aid is in a meeting about orientation that i was not invited to and the other two people who work at orientation.
I was so pissed I didn't even want to ask to go.
I feel like crying
Should I have sucked it up and asked if I could go???

My boss told me yesterday that I am next in line for a promotion for a managers position. But he said that they only way that I will receive it is if I come to his office after work and give a pedicure and other special favors. He insists that this is standard procedure for anyone seeking a managers procedure. Should I do this? Help please I really need this job
