Both jobs require many years of schooling, then on-the-job training. I wouldn't expect the wages to be high for many years specially as you will have debts from the years of schooling.
I expect the heart surgeon will earn more but you have to balance that against the cost of the schooling and training plus the fact it's a limiting job / qualification like you cannot move easily from being a heart surgeon to working in a non-medical field.

Heart surgeon. Comparing a heart surgeon to an anesthesiologist, is like comparing day and night.

Heart Surgeon by far they both make good money but anesthesologist is not a surgeon so I don't htink their residency is as long and extensive as a heart surgeon.

If you are practicing in the military (Navy, Air Force, Army), the anesthesiologist makes the most than ALL.
