The first thing you want to do is get pictures done. you want good quality and range. so the modeling angency can get agood idea of what you can do. then you need to look around for an agency. make sure it is reputable.

Modeling is a very competitive field and not that many women get to make it. But, If that is you dream, you should by all means go for it. Just be aware of how it is.

Go to a fashion photographer (bring 3 or 4 diff outfits ask and he or she will tell you which) get some comp cards made.
Once you get your comp cards made send them out to modeling agencies.. If you got the look you will get the call..

go around to all the agencies. bring pictures but don't spend too much on anything too professional.
if an agency wants to charge you to make a book before they sign you then you will know it's a scam.
if they want you, all they have to do is take Polaroids of you and that's it.
