okay so i was offered a job editing video footage for this person who runs a non nude/nude website getting 10%of profits for doing the graphics. I was talking with my dad about it not letting on that its a adult site he said something about getting in trouble with the law. now i do know that he dabbles in that kind of thing but i trust him, hes been a great friend to me and i know he does everything he is suposed to to have a legitimate business, ie, reporting taxes, consent forms from the models...do i have a reason to feel wierd about it? could i get in legal trouble with this??

You doing the graphics will not get you in trouble. You were hired by him to do a task. Any copyright infringements, illegal activity or whatever would be on him. Not you.

There is a possibilty if he says that he has consent and really doesn't. Or if he claims they are of age and really aren't. You are the one working on them, if caught do you really think that law enforcement are going to believe you are innocent? hah, you wish! it doesn't matter if you were hired to do the job or not, you could still have to do some time if everything isn't right or everyone isn't of age and so on.
It's a reallllllly risky business.. If you and your dad are feeling wierd about it, theres prolly a good reason why! Remeber great friends can turn into your worst enemy.

Link to the website please? ;)

Just kidding.

But, to answer your question... I think you were talking about editing videos like censoring them? or what?

Or like cutting the video and then rearranging them?

But 10% is kinda a hefty sum.

I say go with your gut instinct. If you think something isn't right then it most likely isn't.
