I am an undergraduate student right now, and by the time I graduate, I would have received 2 BA's (History and Psychology, with a minor in Communications). Would it be beneficial for me to spend another 2-4 years in grad school and spend probably another $80,000 on my education, or should I just go enter the working world right after graduation and try to see if I can actually get a writing job?

I'm a freshmen in high school and I've been thinking about getting a job for a long time. The problem is the limited job options. I don't like babysitting nor shoveling snow. I would do tutoring but my parents wouldn't allow people to come over for tutoring, I wouldn't be allowed to go to their homes, and the library is too far to be used as a central location. Also, there's a retirement home close to my house, if anyone's interested in knowing. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

I am in the mortgage industry and well...it's not the most enjoyable job around, but happy that I have a job and not out driving an ice cream truck or picking up trash (not saying that those jobs are not needed and serve a purpose). Why do you love or hate your job? Your boss, management, red tape, coworkers, job environment.

I got fired from Home Depot because I was intoxicated at the job. I've been attending AA session for the past month now and I've also been going to the couseling center every week. If I got a reference letter from all three in December and gave them to my manager at Home Depot, would I get my job back? Is there such a policy that says those intoxicated shall not be hired again?

I mean...they piss just about everyone off (except maybe their mothers). We could make a sport out of them!! It's called "I'll call you at dinner time" and here's how it works...

It's really easy. First, you dress one of them up in a Barney suit that has been painted with steak juices. Give them a days bread, a little canteen full of dirty water, and some fishing wire. The telemarketer then runs off into the woods for about, oh say, 2 minutes. Did I forget to mention the roller skates? The telemarketer MUST wear rollerskates in the Barney costume... Once the 2 minute mark occurs, you let out 15 hungry lions who chase down the telemarketer and eat him or her. See??!! Fun!!

I swear, dude...you think it sounds stupid...just try it. It's a theraputic sport and will help you sleep better at night... You should try my variation of golf using lawyers as the tee...

I'm graduating college with a degree in finance in December. I already had one interview with a public accounting firm and have another soon where they said they will make me an offer (about 70 people total work there) and will do mainly auditing but some tax when necessary. My business school is in the top 20 in the nation and I have a very good gpa. I know I should let them say the first number on the salary negotiation. I also used a salary calculator thing from a website that said avg starting salary for this in my area is 46k (if it is correct...). How should I go about the negotiation and what numbers should I put up?

Obviously some careers were more important than others. I imagine any luxury services, like hair salons, etc, were the first to go out of business. But even during hard financial times, there are still things that a family must buy! Help me come up with a good list of professions that would help a man sustain his family during the Great Depression of the 1930's. Thanks.

I will be working for a VP who is known for constantly changing travel arrangements, re-scheduling meetings several times and basically making everyone he interacts with schedule around his schedule. You know the type constantly has cell phone stuck to ear and schedules several things in one day (despite the fact you’ve told him). Any useful suggestion on how to manage this boss? Before you ask why.. it’s a big jump in pay for me.
