Greetings all, My name is Derek, I'm 33 years old. Five years ago I was charged with a terrorist threat..no, I'm not a terrorist nor am I an Al Quaeda sympathizer. I was a Firefighter for 11 years and came into contact with an individual online who sent me over the edge causing me to make the mistake of sending a bomb threat...yes...very stupid! I lived a criminal free life until that awful mistake. I've been married 14 years and have 2 beautiful children. I'm a decorated Veteran & a decorated Firefighter for having saved lives. Since my conviction five years ago, I've had no negative contact with law enforcement which is not hard, I've always lived a clean/drug free life. Being a 4th generation Firefighter, I've failed my Wife & children. I'm in college in hopes to make it back in the Fire Service. An attorney said I can get it expunged. Is my career over? Do I have another chance? Any advise is appreciated. You can visit me at my, MySpace Page: http://www.myspace.com/101545150

The nanny is only working mornings, and he is a great guy. I feel totally comfortable with him being around my 7 year old and 15 month old, but my extended family is severely homophobic. How should I handle this?

I would like to quit, but itis coming up to xmas and i need the money, any suggestions of easy part-time jobs i could do. I have a skirt and a pretty shirt, but I do not have a good pair of shoes to wear with it. I tried finding a good pair the other day, but I just didn't see any that I thought looked good on me. I have pretty big feet and it's always been hard to find dress shoes. I have these ugly, outdated pair of dress shoes, but I would feel rediculous wearing them with a skirt.

Are dress pants okay to wear to an interview? I have a black pair and a brown pair.

I have an interview on Friday for a teaching job at the university. I already work there part-time and it's highly possible that they'll hire me full-time. But I want to make sure I give well-thought and well-phrased answers to their questions. I'm very bad at answering questions without giving much thought on them, and I'm afraid of messing things up. Last year, I had a similar interview but now I don't even remember what they asked to me, I was very excited I think. Well, if I know what kind of questions to expect, I can think on the answers beforehand and have a successful interview.

I'd highly appreciate it if any experienced teacher could give me some advice on how to prepare for the interview.
