i was sent a letter offering job as an accountant on JIS shipping...their lawyer has also sent me a contract form and asking me to pay some usd250/ towards visa processing charges...offering 3yrs contract ......but before i can do anything can anyone tell me how i can confirm the same please?

anyone who asks you to pay a fee up front is, as the other guy said, dodgy.....if they really want you they'll pay the fees and deduct them from your paycheck.
Call your local Ghana Embassy and see what they know about these guys....

You have to pay them for the visa processing ? surely they should pay that if they want to employ you. Looks dodgy.
