I don't get around very much anymore so I do a good bit of shopping on-line. Thats always a mystery as well as a thriller in not knowing just exactly what you'll be getting. Mincedmeat can be a regional sort of thing as well as generational. I haven't had any good mincedmeat pie with a dollop of good booze in it in years, I die for some good old Shoo-fly Pie with the gummy bottom to it. That was a Lancaster County Pennsylvania Dutch speciality. Yum-Yum.

Mystery shopping is a method adopted by the management of a shop or company to evaluate their own performance by sending hired byres with out the knowledge of the working staff.
You have to apply to become a mystery shopper at the websites of these market research companies. They will then contact you if they have any assignment in your area. List of companies where you can apply free and links to relevant websites available at http://tinyurl.com/n474j

Our company would use mystery shoppers to make sure that we were performing to our companies standards. The company pays the mystery shop company to send people into your store to check on a set of criteria and then report back to your company.

I'm making tons of money doing it, and I just started in August. I love doing it. It's alot of fun and I can do it in my spare time...
Go to http://www.volition.com/mystery.html and there's a huge list of REAL mystery shopping companies. The rule of thumb I've found is NEVER pay a company to be a mystery shopper. The ones that ask for money are either scams or just aren't worth the money you'd pay them...
below are some of my favorite companies' links. ... Good luck

I know a girl who did mystery shopping. You go to a store, check various things like you might be assigned to see how a competitor is pricing things or merchandising them, or to your own employers store and make sure everybody's doing their job, the store is clean, etc. She liked the job, but she did have to do bad reports on some employees, she didn't like that part at all.

I have done a few. There is just not many in my area and they get assigned really fast. Doesn't pay alot only about $10 a shop. There is one place that you go to movies and just count people in the movie and they pay for your ticket.
