Don't count on it. Bonuses are always distributed at the discretion of management. Unless there is something in writing, people who are not employed when the bonuses are distributed probably will get overlooked.

Every company is different. If a union contract specifically addresses this issue, you'll need to contact your former union rep.

Minus a union contract, it is up to the company. If the person is no longer employed with that company, how would he know about a bonus? "Someone told me" is just heresay.

Take a chance and contact the company's HR person and ask. That answer should give him all the info he needs.
But don't be surprised when the answer is NO.

You are eligible for "Bonus" when the top half of your Yahtzee score card adds up to 63 points or over. Bonus amount is 35 points. It doesent matter if you're working or not.

Depends.

Most will be eligible for a pro-rata bonus in the year they leave, but not in future years.

no. if you're an ex employee, why would you get a bonus?
