I have a skirt and a pretty shirt, but I do not have a good pair of shoes to wear with it. I tried finding a good pair the other day, but I just didn't see any that I thought looked good on me. I have pretty big feet and it's always been hard to find dress shoes. I have these ugly, outdated pair of dress shoes, but I would feel rediculous wearing them with a skirt.

Are dress pants okay to wear to an interview? I have a black pair and a brown pair.

Well, I'm going to an interview at Goody's. They usually wear casual dressy type clothes, at least what I've noticed.

I don't have a jacket that would look good over it, but I was thinking about wearing a pretty necklace and maybe a bracelet. I thought that would help make me look dressier.

I always dress up for an interview. I think wearing a simple necklace with your blouse will make you look more professional. I would go with the black pair of pants (unless your shoes are brown). To make you shoes look newer (if they are plastic or leather) you can rub a little vaseline on them, it makes them look new. Good Luck!

That depends where you are interviewing. From a male perspective, as someone who interviews people for jobs frequently, I certainly would think what you plan on wearing would be fine if it is a somewhat casual environment. If you are applying to a more conservative and formal workplace, more traditional dress may be appropriate.

Frankly, if the employer can't see past your attire, I would think twice about working there in the first place:) Just be confident.

If your surgeon says you can get both done, did he mean at the same time?? If so get 'em both done together! You'll have some post-operative swelling and discomfort from both prodcedures. Check in with your surgeon as to recovery time and which surgery would interfere less with your October trip. Congratulations on the weight loss, that's a very tough thing to do!

Nothing wrong with pants--just be sure to have some kind of a jacket over the blouse to give a complete look to the outfit and make it more 'suit-like.'

You can't go wrong being a little more formal--is much better than being under-dressed.

Dress as if you were going to work at the job you're interviewing for.
