Guys, I wish to sell stuff on internet( like books). I wish to get a paypal account set up, where I can RECEIVE money for the things I sell on internet to folks. So what do I do to get a free paypal account wherein I can receive money from people.How does this work??? Do I get an account # or a website, where my customers make payments.. how does this work, guys , pls tell me!! thanks in advance!

PayPal website will explain it all. You will have to link it to a bank account though. You may wany to concider opening a second checking account that you don't keep too much money in to avoid any unauthorized transactions by anyone using your PayPal account. PayPal is very secure, but I have seen accounts violated. I set mine up that way and don't worry about someone getting at my real money.

Just go to paypal.com and sign up. I have an account through ebay. It's easy. It works with your bank account.
