I got fired from Home Depot because I was intoxicated at the job. I've been attending AA session for the past month now and I've also been going to the couseling center every week. If I got a reference letter from all three in December and gave them to my manager at Home Depot, would I get my job back? Is there such a policy that says those intoxicated shall not be hired again?

that is a tough one, depending on the policies of home depot and its management. some employers will send the employee to seek help or get rehab. (EAP- Employee Assistance Program), does home depot have that type of program? and were they the ones that sent you to AA? You will need to talk to Human Resources to see if their rules will allow them to give you another chance.

You would need to contact Home Depot's Human Resource Dept.
