I already work 3 I work at a children's hospital full time, do Pampered Chef on the side, and on weekends I work at a Harley Dealership. I got an offer for a part time job at the hospital for every other weekend. My boyfriend and I are trying to save up money to buy a home. Do you think this will cause me too much stress and will it even be worth it?

Although, i know it is considered illegal for companies to not hire based on a last name due to discrimination. I do believe that it is done anyways by employers, whether it be to hire a status quo of minorities. I am a Asian minority who wants to change my last name back to my adoptive parents name which is American sounding. Do you think that will hurt or help my chances of employment? I have references either way. Thanks.

I am going through background for a job and am having to give an explanation for my low credit score. A few years back I went through some financial difficulties, and stopped paying some of my bills to take care of other personal obligations. How do I appropriates inform this employer that although my situation looks horrific, it doesn't reflect my ability to work and complete my job?

Well, today he called again, but instead of having the courtesty to leave a voicemail, i think he used the "page" function on my phone, because afterwards I got a strange text message with his number on it. I feel like that was very rude of him! First of all, I'd like to have the ability to know what he's calling about before I call him back, and secondly, my phone is NOT a pager, and I feel like he should know that. What should I do? Call him back, or wait til he can at least wise up and leave a message?

I work in a very small expensive retail store, there are currently 6 girls employed, my manager has decided to bump me up, more hours and a possible pay raise. But she said that she noticed Im too nice with the other girls and I let them take my sales...I do, cause I dont want to be mean, and the girls dont do it on purpose. Which brings me to my question, how can I work with my customer, what should I say to her when she tries on that dress, should I strike up a conversation? And about what? What will keep my customer with me?
