I was-- I think I'd want it to carry a variety of topics on the subject. Everything from the obvious... like drink recipes and and product reviews, to maybe the not so obvious-- history of the scene, reader written stories, discussion on some of the uglier sides of the industry as well. Something informative that I could contribute to, as well as make friends around the world.
I only bartended for 1 year after college, not that long ago, but a little while. I am imagining if I was bartending today what I would want. Of course there are reasons that I do that anymore, nor would I take that job again.

Yes both for a very Ritzy Hotel in florida
and a podunk hole in the wall in Minnesota.
the latest FAD drink receipes might be good.
Lets say the bar hoppers in NYC had something new
that the folks in Texas didn't know much about.
Maybe some bartending tools like pouring spouts (just an example) or a new blender or something that would make the job easier.
Maybe legal tips to keep barkeeps from being sued by
their customers who get in car accidents after
demanding drinks al nite. You get the picture

I was a bartender for many years way back.
It would be fun to swap stories about all the difficult and interesting customers. They all had stories to tell.Bartenders are like psychiatrists.
