It is true - it's free but you have to have broadband. The videos are a kick. Tests are REALLY hard. And it claims that mind capital is more important than job skills and knowledge now. And that with just 3 questions you can figure out how to develop your mind capital. Blows me away.

I have an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. I have 15 undergraduate business courses I took as electives. I am now seeking an MBA. I work for the U.S. Government, but not anything related to business. Just wondering if an MBA would be worth the time, effort, and investment? I am 29 yrs old so it may be a whole new career move at best. Any opinions?

I'm sure this will sound silly to those of you who have been working and raising kids for years, but up to this point I have been a full time parent and have not had to work.

I need to get a part time job when school starts to supplement my husband's income and I have no idea how to deal with school vacations/holidays/etc.

My daughter is 6 years old and will be in 1st grade. How do I work around her school schedule? HELP!!!!!!!!

I have a job... but they don't pay me nearly enough for all of the work I do. I have an interview on Saturday for a position offering $18.75... My boss just told me that he is going out of town on next week... Will it be wrong if I get the job to just leave... or should I wait? This job is so stressful and it takes a lot out of me... I don't know what to do... HELP!!!

I will graduate with a Bachelor's of Science from Penn State. I was thinking I could be a data analyst but i'm not sure if that's feasible? if not, what other high paying entry level, it related jobs do you think I could qualify for.

My career advisor and academic advisor were not of any help (both told me to look up monster, career builder, ect-- and those sites were unhelpful!)

Thank you in advance for those who legitimately try to answer my question.

Do they get to things right away? Do they return your calls? Are they "user friendly"? Are they always too busy? How many employees are in your HR department and how many employees are in your company?

By the way, I work in HR, and I know without us, this agency would probably fall apart! My opinion is no one realizes the value of their HR Deptartment until they have a crisis or tragedy happen in their family, or their health insurance didn't pay a claim, or they didn't get paid correctly (and it is usually because they never submitted their time sheet on time!), etc.

And not many people realize how busy we actually are!!

How many people are caught in the "matrix"? You wake up every morning, go to work, come back home and do it all over again. How many of you are just going through your routines and not living out your dreams?

I know you can be non-exempt hourly and even non-exempt salaried, but cannot find concrete evidence that you can be exempt hourly. So if you meet the requirements to be exempt from overtime treatment by the FLSA, and you are paid on an hourly basis, then any hours over 40 you would not get time and 1/2 (or premium pay). I would think the FLSA rules are in place to avoid that type of treatment. So I can be docked as an hourly employee for not fulfilling 40 hours in a week, but if I work more than 40 I only get straight pay. That seems to err on the side of the employer which the FLSA rules are usually there to protect the employee.
Can anyone point me to a legal review or somewhere on the FLSA website that proves this treatment is not accurate (or the contrary)? Thank you.....FLSA-Challenged...

I'm looking into a new carrer and want to become a certified professional building designer. I am very interested in designing buildings and I would like to do it professionally. I found some informations about it online and there it says that I need to take some architectural courses and do an on-the-job training. I have no idea how to get started. Do I first have to find a school or first a company that trains me? Or is it both paralell?
It's a totally new field for me, because I'm from germany and completed a degree in education there. I don't know how all this stuff works here in the US. But as I said, I am very interested in that architecture field.

The location would be down town of the town I live in – population over 9000 and growing with surrounding population of about 12000. I want if to be semi formal, quiet, and a bit romantic. There is nothing like it here and couples need a nice place to go to relax and enjoy their evening.

I work for an insurance agency and love my job, but have been unhappy recently due to being passed over for a promotion. Yesterday my brother-in-law offered me a job working for the insurance agency that he is manager of, and it is for a lot more money then what I am making now. I would be a fool to pass up more money, because lets face it nothing is getting any cheaper these days yet I feel guilty for considering the new job.My brother -in-law and my current boss and I all 3 worked for a different insurance agency together so we are all friends. Should I go to my boss and let him know about the offer and see if he counter offers or should I just take the new job and give my 2 weeks notice? Please help!
