To be honest, I dont know. I had to go through this dilemma early this year when I had two really good offers - one at my dream company and the other one at another multinational company. The second one was offering me a better pay and i didnt know what to do. i spent sleepless nights wondering what to do because i knew one wrong decision could spoil my whole career especially when the companies were the leaders of two different industries. I was lucky to have a second offer from the first company which was high enough and that was the end of it.

i wanted the best pay and again i didnt want to do something that i dont like. i think if my company didnt make me a better offer later, i probably would have still been there .. because i love this industry. having a career without passion is not something you can be happy of.

I choose to enjoy the work I do, however I also fancy the notion of not being stressed over money, so I believe in working hard at what I have agreed to do, and keep striving for what I dream to do as well. There is plenty of opportunity if you can discover what you enjoy and get compensated generously for it.

I kept a job I liked and didn't pay well for quite awhile. Now I guess I'm doing the same thing, haha.

Do the job that you enjoy. You may not make as much money, but you will be a happy person. If you do a job that you hate, you will end up a miserable person.

The one I like that doesn't pay well. There's no point in being unhappy at work. It just makes the rest of your life sucky.
