Employers now look for skill oriented resumes. What you do is sort of list what you've done first - such as:

Skills:
Operated heavy machinery
Wrangled monkeys and assisted with training
Gained experience and became certified in A+

On and on listing your work experience/education as one line - you worked here from this date to this date. Arrange the skills so that the ones that pertain to this particular job are the ones on top.
