if i take a loss for selling an item on half.com then i dont have to pay income taxes on it right? Like if I bought the book for 20 and resold it on half.com for 15

Husbands' insur. didn't cover him very well, called an ambulance he was paralzyed, spent 3 nites in neointensive care ended up with "Graves disease",he had radiation twice to kill thyroid, racked up huge hosp. bills, took place between 2001 & 2002 so had both years "out of pocket" put balance on credit cards, prior 2 that I took him off my insurance 2 help my company save money, "dumb" move! Due to high CC rates we recently both borrowed against our 401K, now repaying those loans & still have some CC bal. (couldn't pay them off totally), can't make ends meet! He went 2 work in another state to try to make more $$ which cost us more $$ because we now were supporting 2 households, that lasted 6 months, can't sleep, eat, or enjoy life!4 full story u can email me @ hoping4miracle.today@yahoo.com
PLEASE - NO LOAN, FINANACIAL ADVOCATE, ETC... comments or soliciting... CAN'T DO IT - THAT'S MY PROBLEM - trying to get away from paying for the next 50-70 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been two years since I was at my old job, and I really miss it, and would love to go back , but the problem is that they know I had finished school for a vocational program and thought I would move on with a career in that path, but turns out I hated that career path.

I don't know if they would take me back or if it would be awkward, as I left them after many years, also don't want to ruin my references with them if I go back and it doesn't work out.

I do not know what to do.....I am serioulsy confused right now!

Okay, I got this job at this mortgage/insurance place. I am supposed to start work offically on December 3!
Anyway...I am only 20, and my husband and I just bought our first place, so right now our money is very tight!!
Well, last weekened I took a insurance class that cost me a little over 400 dollars!!
It really put as back, and we are scraping as of now! Then, my boss wanted me to go to another training class this week, and there was just no way I could afford the gas of going all the way across town. NOW, he is upset with me, and thinks that I am slacking off.....he thinks that not having money is no excuse!
Plus, I am upset because technically I am not supposed to start working until next week, and he is mad at me because I didnt go to a training class this week!I dont know what to do because I am a dedicated person...I just cant afford to go to all these things hes sending me to!
What should I do????

I am already in the process of being sued by a law firm who purchased my debt form 4 years ago. I think it has hit the statue of limitations and I'm working to fight it due to lack of funds. But now a second card said they will sue me in 5 days if I do not respond with payment. AHH Thinking about seeing if I can even get a loan to pay these debts and settle the accounts for like 30% off what I owe them should be reasonable. Who would even give me one that's not terrible since my credit score is probably 580 or something Help!

I always wanted to get into advertising and marketing. After graduating I got a job (training followed by a confirmation) in a leading ad agency. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Problem is guys, it’s been four months and I haven't really done anything meaningful. I didn’t learn anything during my training.

I am assisting one of the account directors with his projects. He keeps giving me bits and pieces. But I feel I am not doing anything and not learning anything. Sometimes for weeks I wouldn’t do anything at all. Only thing keeps me here is reputation of the agency but at the same time I think if I won’t learn anything then what’s the point? Is this a common problem when you start your career?

Is it worth studying going to pharmacy school to get paid 100K?
is it worth studying going to pharmacy school to get paid 100K starting? i am having trouble deciding between graduating with a bachelors in chemistry and immediately becoming a forensic scientist (earning 40-50K starting) OR studying an additional 4-6 years to become a pharmacist with a salary of atleast 100K starting? any advice,comments,suggestions is appreciated, i like both jobs but I am more intrigued by forensic science but i am hearing that the pay it terrible.
