I'm a team player. (I work well with others.) I can take direction/I'm trainable. (I appreciate learning all aspects of my job and want to be an asset to the company.) I prefer being busy, and I tend to work well under pressure. (I'm upbeat, enjoy work and don't let stress get in my way.)

before you get to answer any question, make sure you know yourself -- your strengths, you weaknesses, habits & vices; and also do remember situations where you excelled & when you failed to accomplish something; then extract the good & bad things about yourself... now put them in words... make sure that the something you tell about yourself will be relevant to the job which you are applying for (that means you also have to know the skill requirements & other values needed to finish the job well).

let's have an example... say, I'll be applying for a job as a teacher... a teacher needs a degree in education, has to have patience to do lesson plans & patience in dealing with naughty students, must have passion for this kind of social work... now, I check myself... am I fit for the job as a teacher? I have a degree, and during the time I was acquiring that degree, I had to make lesson plans... I was good at that & I also have patience making lesson plans... however, sometimes, the children get to my nerves, but I can tolerate their noise for a time (how much time can I tolerate?)... I didn't really want to become a teacher, but now I enjoy sharing knowledge to children... I'm sociable, but what does have to do with my being a teacher? besides being able to teach my class, I can also use my interpersonal skill/s to establish a good rapport with my students & I'll also be able to deal with their parents well with this... I'll be able to talk with the parents for a time regarding their children's performance at school. I'll also be able to get along well with my co-teachers... I am confident... I can use this confidence to deliver well to my students. I am not good at making very creative presentations... this might make me a boring teacher...
then just continue trying to fit yourself into the job. :) a self-examination such as this might be able to help you.

you cannot just ask people what to say because the good things about me might not be the same for you, and same goes to the bad things... you just have to be able to get in touch with yourself before answering those questions.

Well, the three bad things I say about myself are that I am quiet, shy and reserved.

The three good things I say are that because I am quiet, I am a good listener, fast learner and like to keep busy.

I am confident. I learn quickly. I am a positive person. When can I start? I really want this job.
