I am starting a new job on Monday. I was looking over the preemployment paperwork. I have to sign a document saying if I have a second job. I do contractual work which is not an every day job. I see people for psychotherapy and get paid per person. My new job is for a large health care system and will be working in a Hospice, not psychotherapy but will be doing some counseling. I don't want to lie, but I don't want any issues to arise as far as working for this company. I was already hired and received my offer letter.

My broker told me today that Lenders no longer allow owners to carry back a 2nd to help people into a home. Is that true? I'm looking for a lender that allows this type of owner financing.

We are trying to buy our first home, and now before we even know if we will get financed, they want us to BUY home owner's insurance? How? Why? Wouldn't that be done once we buy the house? Especially if it's escrowed in to our monthly payments?

so I am in the market for a new car, about $24,000.. I can get a 3.9 % finance for 36 months. I can put $10,000 down.
I can put those $10,000 in my bank and make 5% interest. Will I save some money by doing so, or am I better off putting those $10,000 as down payment for the car?

All of the debt management companies I have spoken with say that CashCall is considered a payday lender (even though I have a $5,000 personal loan) and cannot be included with credit cards.

Don't they have to take them count them and deposit them in my account? I did that once and the teller looked at me strange and said we don't have a machine to count these. So I went home and rolled them. But if the coins are legal U.S. money don't they have to take them as a deposit by law? Just wondering.

My girlfriend has 2 days left on her lease and moving this Friday. She has 2 cats that she did not tell the complex about. Today they came in assess the apartment and discovered the cats (and the damage to the carpet the cats have done).

2 questions:
1. Can the apartment management confiscate the animals?

2. Can this discovery cause any change to the ending of the lease (not including charging for additional damages beyond the basic security deposit)?

Ok. we plan on moving from Chicago to Orlando, cuz even with two jobs here in Chicago, its very very hard to make ends meet. People from florida tell me its exspensive there, but believe it is not in Orlando compared to Chicago! We wanna move there in August, gives us time to save some money, we wanna be able to pay off 4-6 months of rent. We wanna rent something small to start off with. Found a nice comlex in Altamonte Springs,Fl, they offer a good priced rent. However, niether of us have a job out there. How do u move to another city without having a job there? what are the steps we need to take? how should we plan this? how much money should we have? any advice would help! just dont tell us how exspensive Florida is, I payed 900$ out here, for a two bedroom apartment, not including utilities, and it was in the ghetto, there was no pool, and no workout room, like the complexes have in Florida! everything is high here!

I have an appointment with a CCCS counselor in 3 weeks. I am not late on any of my payments, but I need their help desperately.

I would like to stop payments now and worry about it later, after the CCCS meeting. After all, my credit rating will plunge as soon as I go with CCCS.

Is this a bad idea? Will it make any difference if I pay or not pay for the next few weeks?

Thank you for your wisdom
Enrique

I we lower the price any more we'll end up owing money. If we foreclose, then we'll have bad credit. WHAT CAN WE DO??? We both just want a clean break.
