First lets say you have $60,000, is there a way you can make $1000 each month in interest?? Second Is there a way you can keep your computer running all day and night and have it work for you making money on its own. I really need to make like $3000 each month and I don't want to create websites or do the stupid surveys. I know there are people out there who make a ton of money from the computer. I am not a 9 to 5 type of guy and I don't want to use my credit cards over scams that promise to make you money but don't deliver. Please help if you know of ways to make simple money online without doing much at all and something that is free. Email me thanks

I just got a phone call and when I answered it was an automated message telling me to call a woman (gave me her name) and that this was an attempt to collect a debt. I think it would be silly to call someone back knowing they are going to harrass me about paying an old debt. I'm sure the debt is old because I don't have any recent unpaid debts. And I think it's stupid on their part to try to contact someone via an automated message. Any feedback?

I'm looking for an apartment, but I want to live near a highway (I-93 in MA) so my commute to work is good. I tried googling, and I get way too many sites. Basically, I want a site where I say, I want to live less than two minutes from I-93 in certain towns (e.g. Cambridge), and up pops all the apartments, complexes, listings, etc.).

Thanks

Most Canadian women are disinterested and unprepared when it comes to planning their financial futures, according to a recent survey by TD Waterhouse.

If that’s true, how would you suggest encouraging women to become more ‘invested’ in their personal finances?

The 10-yr treasury note's index value is 3.9 (on 11/28/07). I thought that the home mortgage rates are pegged to this note.
Why are the home mortgages still at 5.8 to 6.0 %?

Im buying a house for 170k, that is appraised at 240k and my lender is now saying that i need PMI insurance or 40k down because without 40k down im above 80% LTV.

This dosent make sense because im purchasing a home with existing equity, even with a 20k down payment im at 62%LTV because of what the home is appraised for.

Can someone please explain this to me.

If a creditor has filed and obtained a judgement against in you, can they take your federal tax refund after it has been filed? And if so, can they take the entire thing if the judgement is against a single individual and you are now married filing jointly?

You need a letter for today that needs to be submitted to an official (it doesn't matter what kind). The person you need the letter from (who works 1000 miles away) is nice enough to do the letter immediately, fax you a copy, and send the original in the mail. Unfortunately, the a**hole official will accept only the original and needs it TODAY, and there's no way you'll receive the letter until the day after tomorrow. Would you have any ethical or moral dilemma about going over the faxed signature so it looks like an original? (Assume that there's no way you'll get caught).

I am have been living and working in Europe for 4 years but I still use my Massachusetts parents address for things like credit card bills and still have a mass. license. I need to form an LLC for my online marketing work. I want to form it in wyoming. If I did this would I need to do anything special (foreign entity fee) since I still might be considered a mass resident even though i will not be working from mass?

I just got a visa card and my cousin sent me this message telling me to beware, and i want to know is this really going on. thanks for answering. and here's the message she sent me...

The Holiday Season is just a little bit down the road and the bad guys are already trying to get free stuff by using your credit. I just received this so thought I'd forewarn you and forward it on.
New Credit Card ScamSnopes.comsays this is true. See this site -http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/creditcard.aspThis Snopes site says TR UE!!! I just checked it myself.
This one is pretty slick since they provide YOU with all the information, except the one piece they want.
Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it. This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself.
