From the news media, there are a lot of home foreclosures from mortgage companies such as Countrywide. The employees who write these loans have business degrees and experience in home mortgages yet they go ahead and create and approve loans that can't be repaid! Can anyone explain to me why would any business do something like this?

I'm a college student applying for an internship and the only jobs I've had are crappy retail part-time jobs in high school that have absolutely nothing to do with the career I'm in school for (graphic design). Should I include them or leave them out?

I am writing a speech, and am trying to think of some of the most successful Public Relations campaigns over the last 10 years. Any suggestions?

One I thought of was how George W. Bush campaigned for the Presidential election with commercials showing him as a cowboy, when he is from Connecticut, to trick people thinking he is the "All-American Hero".

I have an FHA loan that I have had for 5 years now. My understanding when I took out the loan was that 5 years must elapse before the PMI can be dropped. The appraised value of my home is apx. $230k. I owe $155k on the loan and $35k on a Home Equity loan. Do I qualify to drop the PMI?

Does anyone know of any buy now, pay later sites? My ex-husband really jacked up my credit by getting a bunch of stuff in my name without my knowledge when we were married. I won't have much money until the end of next month, and I need to get Christmas presents for my kids. Any stores or codes?

I had an interview today and I must admit that I suck at interviews. I am not that polished and often freeze up on trick questions. I was nailed and drilled this morning and the interviewer did not find me fascinating. I can tell by the look in her eyes. I am a hard worker. I catch on quick but I just flat out suck on interviews. I don't think that I am going to get this job. I was really unprepared to answer 50 questions and spend 1 whole hour and a half there. She didn't crack a smile. She was very firm and serious. I felt a little offended and intimidated. She asked the same questions over and over but they were worded differently. She wanted me to role play with her the type of work I did at my previous position. I got really nervous and screwed up. She criticized the way my previous job did business. What do you guys think? Have you ever sucked on an interview and still got the job? Do a bad interview really means that you will be a bad employee, is that how they look at it?

How unethical would it be if I changed agents to write an offer on a home? My agent misled me in believing that she was a seasoned professional, but I have discovered she has only been licensed for 4 months! I am wanting to buy a bank-owned property and am finding that my bidding and financing situation is in need of someone with more experience. She did not find the home, I did, but she did let me in to view it. I have been working with her for 2 months and have developed quite a friendship. I just don't know if I want her handling my real estate needs. How do I handle this sticky situation? I have nothing in writing with her.

I work for a small privately held company. We have been around almost 15 years and are finally doing somewhat well. I don't know much about stock and such, but I thought this might be a good idea? We don't have a ton of money and I am making about as much as I can at this point (been there 7 years). So I thought this might be a good solution as my bonus? What do you think? How many shares should/could I ask for? Any ideas? Help!

I live in WA state and I signed a two year rental lease. I know in the state of WA any lease that is longer then a year has to be notarized. My lease is not notarized and I want to get it out of it after a year. Is this something I'm going to have to get an attorney for as I can't believe my landlord would be willing to give me back my deposit and my last month's rent.
