How can I discharge a lien myself, and not get ripped off by Bank fees.?

I have a paid off line of credit with the "Bank". I want to close the account. They want $270.00 to discharge the lien against my property. i want to do it myself and save money.

You can't discharge THEIR lien by yourself. Discharging or removing their lien requires THEIR authorized signatures and agreement.

Sorry for the situation, but they're in the driver's seat here.
