I'm trying to rent my condo out, and I want to avoid any riff raff. How do I check someone's credit before I rent to them? Is there some agency or some website that I can pay in order to get their credit history?

Check out this site. it is invaluable for landlords and will provide credit checks and has information about undesirable tenants. A good site!

As a side note, make sure that you are following the Fair Housing laws, both federal and for your state/city/county. Ask for references and follow up with them. You must treat all applicants exactly the same or you may be charged with violation of the Fair Housing laws.
