recently my work college and i got a promotion, shes a step higher than me and still is but shes always snaping at me talking to me like an idiot and when i ask questions shes just telling me shes doing it "coz i want to". only me too and undermining me at every oppertunity. ive already spoke to the manager twice about her but hes made no attempt to sort it out. my friends think i should take it a step higher and put in an offical complaint but i think it will make things worse. i used to like my work but im now finding it hard to go in every morning.

Given that brokerages no longer mail paper stock certificates to investors, how can someone who owns stock be sure they will get their funds out of the market in a calamity (i.e., a computer virus that wipes out all computers/brokerage records)? Although there are insurances for stocks, do the brokerages keep paper records for each client? I have heard of some type of account ("clean....account") that can protect against this risk. What is the answer?

Recently even doctors' offices have joined in this nuisance.

Not only insurance companies, utilities, banks, it seems everybody must "PROTECT THEIR EMPLOYEES" against, mostly justified customer rage. (That is why this has become such an issue in the first place.)

Would it not be a better idea to protect us, the common consumer against the rock-bottom lousy service that they provide in those call centers?

i can only work from 8:30 to 2:30 because those are the only hours that wont interupt my kids schooling..I cant seem to find a job because everyone is to strict on there schedules ..this really upset me ..because i have to work arounf my kids schooling and no one wants to hout for those hours..

p.s. and those of you who put , prostitute or hooker , you should be proud of yourself , your a real American class act

IF you were going to loan your child money for a bizness, wouldn’t you feel better if it was a bizness, you were already successful in AND it was a bizness that your son/daughter wanted to be in? My mom & step-bro were going to help me start my own biz, exactly like theirs. We’ll call it: ‘AJAX’ AJAX biz they have over 20 yr. exp. They have a proven product, a local ‘house-hold name’. Great relations with suppliers & customers. I have intermediate exp in this biz.
I found a great location, 5k month rent, other side of town. In this biz, you buy for a dollar, sell for three. I researched all the costs for build-out, negotiated free-rent for B-O, a B-O allowance, etc. I figured I needed 65k, they backed out saying, “it’s a 100k, out of our price range, rent is too high”

Instead, they wanted to support me in different biz they have 0 exp in that I only have amateur exp in, an hour away in another town, 12k rent, AND buy it for a dollar, sell it for $1.30! Initial investment 100k.

I live in New York and signed a sales agreement 7 months ago with Toll Brothers for a new condo. I have given them a considerable amount of money for a down payment, and was expecting to close this month. Due to construction delays, the closing is now delayed until January. It is stated in the sales agreement that they can delay closing for up to a year.

Here is my problem: I have just been notified by my employer, that I am being transferred to a different state within the next 2 months. Is it possible to get out of my sales agreement (contract?) and have most, if not all, of my money returned??? or will I lose all of the money?

You pay ss, medicare, Income tax, gas tax, Taxes on the useage of you phone, does anybody know how many other taxes you pay th the state and federal government, and how many of the taxes is congress trying to raise again? I, by the request of some of my female employees, had a couch installed in the womens bathroom area. It turns out that many of my employees used it for purposes not related to simply sitting. At least that is my assumption. Now I have several employees complaining that they have comtracted crabs from the couch. Now they want time off and company paid medical bills to "solve" the problem. I have already removed the couch, under protest from some of them, and have installed sanitary wipe stations. But I just don't think that my company should have to pay for wanton transfer of genital lice.

New cigarrette tax, more taxes on everything, and letting tax credits for middle income family are allowed to expire all in order to fuel the overspending of the government. And lets not forget to tax 20% of the American public more than others by continously upping taxes on smoking ( 7? times since 2000). Doesn't this sound a bit like discrimanation against a minority of population?
