I noticed that many times when my manager approves a Leave of Absence, shift change, or something similar, he writes on the form "Approved without precedent or prejudice".
Why does he do that?
Also, if he's been writing it repeatedly on every form for the past 2 or 3 years, does it lessen the effect of whatever it is he is trying to protect?

I'm a junior in an accredited university in the US mid-Atlantic region. I live in what is considered a medium sized city in the US. Currently I'm studying Information Systems. I have recently started an IT related job. However, it seems that the pay is a bit too low. I know I haven't graduated yet, but is $10.25 the best I can get for now? I know how to program (.net mostly) but haven't really had professional experience to prove it. Even though my current job does not currently entail programming, would I be better off trying for one that does (in my current situation)? The company I work for is a medium to large sized health insurance company.

Say you know if the money is in there, you will most likely take it out if you can! Is there a way to set up an account that will let you put an age limit on it? Example: Say I am 27 and I want to save my money for two years? They put a lock on it till I am 29 so that no matter what... I cannot take it out!!!

So I wasn't able to pick up my paycheck until today, and when I was able to, my bank was already closed. Unfortunately, I need that money for tomorrow. Are there any stores that will cash my paycheck? If so, how much does the service cost?

Then those same people probably complain about gas prices or governmental policies that help do something useless and aren't totally monopolies bent on stealing money from people too stupid to realize how much of a gimmick professional sports have become.

Hey, let me go out and buy name brand products because XYZ endorses it and it MUST be better than anything. Maybe I'll wear my $150 Nikes, $30 hat, $75 jersey, and bring my $300 ticket to the game so I can spend $20 on lunch to watch steroid users make millions of dollars! WHAT A GREAT IDEA!

I am a 25 yr old male with a good job. I am not having trouble paying for the two cards I own, however I am thinking that the rate on my personal loan would be significantly lower than my two credit cards. I was wondering if a personal loan for about 10K would hurt my credit score?

I work at a hair salon and my boss does not take out taxes. She says that we will get a 1099 form at the end of the year and we have to pay our own taxes. I was told that she should be taking taxes out of my check every week since I am considered an employee. Is this true? Or can she continue to pay us our full amount and we pay our own? Im confused!:)
