Raising Money?

Question

I am trying to raise money to go on this summer trip. I have been wanting to participate in this since I found out about it. I have a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/myacademicfundraiser . I haven't had any donations yet. can anyone help me and give me more ways to raise money? Or if you have donations yourself, could you send me a message?

Hey Krissy.

You know it would be great, if people were able to send you money,
But the world is that great of a place. Usually the only ones who can do this kind of thing are family members.
But You see if people send you money, they only giving it to you once, and that's it!!
Remember the story, "It is better to teach a man to Fish, then rather give a man a fish" Because if you give a man a fish, you feed him once, But if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life.
Why am I writing all this to you...
