Our employer is offering unum ltc insurance at a group rate. For a 47 year old, 4 yr coverage @ 4k, monthly premium is $20.30. When I chose the compounded option, monthly premium jumps to $59.10.
I called they company and they said it is compounded at 5% per year.
My other thought was to go with 8k coverage, no inflation for $44.00 per month.
Is there anyone out there who understands this stuff and would please give me any guidance?
Thank you!

I am studying the issue of gold jewelry (solid gold and yellow gold) 10 karat and 14 karat and i want to understand how to calculate this.
I contacted a jewelry manufacturer in Hong kong regarding buying directly from him 10k and 14k gold earrings and bracelets.
He sent me a Quotation file but i didn't really understand it.
In the file he also added remarks

Remarks:
-Production loss is 10%-12%.
-The gold price is calculated according to the International quotation.
The price today is 10.384 USD(78yuan)

-The total price is calculated like this : Manual fee + the price of gold/ g *weight + loss.

The price for the earring:

USD10+10.384*11.6+11.6*12%*10.384

Bottom line is this - is it clear that if i eliminate the manual fee and the Production loss then to calculate the price for pair of earrings its actually the Weight of th

I am looking at PFFS plans from various insurance companies. They seem to have flexible coverage and allow freedom of choice.
My question is a two-parter:

1) Are HMO and PPO Medicare Advantage plans better than PFFS plans or PFFS are better for consumers?

2) Is there a balance billing for any of the following plans:

- Coventry Freedom
- Humana
- Aetna
- Today's Options
- Secure Horizons

Your expertise would be welcome.

I'm making a small business to earn a bit of money. What happens is I email some of my family and friends (then they will forward the email to there family and friends) a nice photostory (it's like a PowerPoint thing) with nice pictures saying about what different effects and stuff I can do. I will also email them a application form which they can say if they want it burned to disk, although i think most people will, if they want music and other stuff like that. My question is what should I write in the email and how much should i charge? (if you don't understand any of this just say and I’ll edit it to make it easier to understand)

I am trying to find out what support there is for a flat rate of just 22% to replace the current system. Also a higher personal allowance of £15,000.

If you earned £17,000p.a (£326p.w) then you would pay only £8.46 per week (£440p.a) in tax. If you earn less than £15,000 per anum, then you wouldn't pay any tax on your earnings.
