Me and my sister moved into this house which was great. however our landlord kinda abondon us. our fridge went out which is in the lease the water never transfered into our name so our water got shut off twice. (its off now) and we have a serious mold problem in the crawl space. we have tried emailing him going to his office hes never there leaving him notes and calling him he never answers and his voice box is always full. our fridge went out recently and we lost 200 dollars of groceries and we had to pay 100 dollars for a part for the fridge becase we don't have a reeipt he has it what should we do do we not mail rent until he contacts us or is that bad someone please help
!!!!

Anybody else been 'had' by the company Domway Ltd?

They seem to be targeting people who have got Lifeline insurance from the Carphone Warehouse.
Thankfully today I got a leaflet through saying about rogue traders are targeting people with Lifeline insurance.
I told my partner and we found out that the company that approached him with regards to his insurance cover 'Domway Ltd' are a fraudulent company.
Not so lucky is that my partner has already given them money!!

We contacted 'Domway Ltd' and the we had the phone put down on us and so we contacted Carphone Warehouse who have acted on it and passed it onto their Fraud department.

Just wondering if anybody else out there has had something similar? Supposedly the companies that are doing this operate from around the Swansea area.

Hope nobody else has had this.

I'm 19 years old and am ready to move out of my parents house. I do have a job, and make enough money to rent a resonable apartment. What I'm worried about it the fact that as far as I know I have no credit. I've never had a credit card and things like that. I've heard that haveing no credit is about as bad as haveing bad credit so I'm worried I might not beable to rent an apartment. So my question would be... What exactly do I need to rent my first apartment?

My husband recently received a Citi Mastercard in the mail that he did NOT apply for. It came in a plain envelope and appears to be a legitimate card. Is this legal? I don't know who to call. I don't want to close the account - I want it to have never existed!

I work at a car dealer where I started as the evening receptionist making $7.50 an hour. I was promoted after 6 months (after giving my 2 weeks notice*) to daytime receptionist and compensated with a raise ($10.50). After a full year I was moved into our accounting office and was made the accounts receivable and payable clerk and my comptroller gave me a $0.50 raise. I'm also a backup when needed for our receptionists whenever one quits, needs a day off etc. I train any new receptionist we have to hire and I've also learned how to do more tasks in our accounting office (dealer trades, putting contracts together for deals, warranty credit postings etc.). I've been here for a little over two years and I'm still finding it hard to get by with the money I make. I want to ask for a raise but I'm not sure if I'm in the position to. I've researched what people are making on average at my position and its more than my current rate. Should I wait to ask for a raise or should I just go for it?

We're moving and have about 4-5 Large Black Bags of Clothing, toys and kitchen stuff... Nothing is broken, stained or really old.

We live about 30mins from Goodwill but there is a location about 2mins from me where i can just drop off stuff and the GoodWill truck will pick up.

My question is.. Is i really worth the 30min drive to get a receipt for a tax deduction? Or should i just drop it off mear my home?

Dont know if this helps but we donated a car this year also.

I am looking for a Punch Line. It is for a New housing project. Name of the project is "Monarch Residency". They are going to build a multistory Apartments with all the luxurious facilities.

I was told it was 7 years. I opened an account under my name for a telephone landline in 2002 for a family member which turned delinquent. I was told that my options (since it's been 5 years) were paying the money off in payments or waiting two years which would erase it from my credit. But the creditors say thay if I don't pay it they'll just sell the account before the 7 years is up and the 7 years will start over with that creditor company. Is that true?

I need true information from someone that is either in the business or has been through it first hand. Thanks.

When bookkeeping for a proprietorship and they have a busniess bank account do you have to reconcile the account? They have been making alot of personal purchases through the business account, which I cannot put in, but does it really matter becasue they have to claim it all on there tax return anyways?

I have a freind who is always relocating or seems on the run, she never stays in one place for more than a year , even in teh same appartment complex she moves from one apt to another. And she has kids, yet, they are always relocating and the kids are always having to change schools. I am concerned with her kids yet, I dont want to get involved or be overly concerned cause its none of my business. And her moving her parents, which are probably here illegaly, though, I dont know for sure. I asked her once about her moving about but she kinda blew it off and siad its cause she doesnt like the areas. But its like she moves like , the most I 've seen her move in a year is 3 times, and its like i know there are affordable places aside from the crappy places she chooses but Christ, its like, poor kids, stay in one place for the sake of them! I do notice some financial issues she has though I cant see how they would connect and even legal, hmmm. maybe.

I know that we get allowance for goverment each year on our tax.
But I forget how much is it?
I remember between $12k? if my medical expense isn't over that amount, I couldn't ask for more refund, but if its over it I could ask for more.
But I don't remember the exact amount on the allowance.
Please help!
