I've been making money out of ebay since Dec-06... around $2000 until May-07. Starting June 07 until now, I've made 30-35K. I have no corp, no company, no accountant, no taxes filed.
What is going to happen to me?
Please be detailed, as I have no idea (clearly) about taxes AT ALL.

Thanks

I am turning 30 this year, and I am concerned about my financial future and retirement. Having saved some (but not as much as I would have liked), I'd like to see where I stand.

Hi- tomorrow I am travelling all day from Devon to Edinburgh for a job interview. I will have one small sports bag with me. After the interview I will literally have to run like Jessie Owens to get the last train of the day home, so I need to leave literally like a shot from the interview (I mean really running).

Is it acceptable to an employer if an interviewee brings a small bag in to the interview or is it wise to see if I can leave it somewhere, at the risk of having to collect it and missing my train? The bag is the size of a small cat basket, give or take.

Thanks.

Having gone through the rigours of getting permanent residency in Great Britain twice, it is pretty damn discouraging to see nonresident Americans swanning around.....living it up in grand flats.....whilst I almost cannot afford to exercise my right of residency.

I say almost because unless I can land a Council flat or something within a housing trust I will not be able to continue to live in London.

I am not amongst those from the States who on big salaries are enjoying the Lambeth walk. I earn piecemeal (so there Juliette Binoche); and not very much piecemeal. AND I ONLY earn piecemeal when the crows stop foraging.

So you add it up.

Disgusting!

Okay we`re not all key workers. But shouldn`t the Mayor underwrite housing for all Londoners (and I MEAN Londoners) and also keep the devellopers at bay? Otherwise it`ll all be housing for the overseas visitors (from the Emirates. America, China, etc)

It is 1:18 am. I need to be at work at 6 am. I already HATE my job, and my performance has been suffering at work. As well as my attendance. I just got back from a 2 1/2 week medical leave of absence for my anxiety, on Oct 1st. I want to just call my manager, tell him I cannot come in, and that I am willing to face the consequences. I am hoping I do get fired, so I will be on a hunt for something new and not so draining and awful. I work at an inbound call center, for a wireless company.

I work in the states, but I live in Canada. It's killing me. My bills are the same, but I'm bringing home less and less. I'm a nurse. Do I go back to Canada for a job where they are paying more, or do I stick it out and wait for the pendulum to swing?

The agency now want to outsource their payroll to a company and charge me 4% of my earnings to cover the costs. Seems like a lot less work for them at MY cost. Can they do this? do I really have to agree to this if I want to stay with them.....Urgent advice needed please

Can I open a new real estate business/office without holding a license in Australia (NSW)? Can I just pay someone who has completed the diploma to be able to hold a license so they can be the licensee in charge?

Basically I would like to be the one that provides the funding (as a director and owner), and have someone who has the relevant qualifications to hold the license. Eventually down the track I would then like to open multiple offices and franchise out across Australia.

Thanks
