My fiance and I would like to save approximately $40,000 - $50,000 in the next two years to buy our first home and have a financial cushion. We will be placing the money in a savings account. Will we have to pay taxes on this money? If so how much & how is it determined? I know for things such as financial aid and filing income tax returns they always ask how much do you have saved. Why? Can I be disqualified for financial aid because of the savings even though its for a home?

His name is not on the account but all the other family members, cousin, aunts, and other sisters know that he has this money in the sisters account. he told his sister year in advance that we were looking for a house and she never said anything to him, until he went to get the money. what can we do? who can we go to for help? please help us he really needs his money that he worked so had for and saved. we are located in Westchester county. thanks

The price we pay for the gas is not what we get. They are ripping people off. ANd it's really weird that they do not give receipts to customers. I don't go there anymore but I do want that gas station to be investigated.

I ordered something off the internet yesterday so they have not charged it on my debit card.

There is an ATM (from that bank) not that far from here, but it says something about an envelope..Where can i get these envelopes?

If they take it from my funds tomorrow and i deposit money tomorrow, would they still charge me extra for not having funds?

All of them promise to make a person rich. Sounds good, but how do you know which one is straight forward and mean what they say? If anyone knows a website that lists real, honest work at home jobs. Please let me know. Does the government have a website like this, or, any truthful info about working at home unsing a computer and internet. There must be someplace on the internet that a person can get advice for this search. Thanks

This guy (592 Feedback, 99.7%) won one of my items, and it turns out he lives by my school. Is it against eBay policy to refund shipping charges (he already paid in full), and offer to just drive over there and drop off the package myself? Or is it possible that he can screw me over since there's no shipping confirmation? I haven't asked him yet

What are monthly and annual fee? Do I have to pay those amounts every month and year despite paying my credit card transactions on time?

My sister wants me to apply to old navy credit card so she can get 10% off. She says I can cancel the credit card afterward, but wouldn't that be bad for me?

I am asking because I am planning on moving in the next 2 yrs to a town nearby. I plan to rent out the home I am living in now. Its a fairly large house and will probably be rented to a family. My problem is the credit worthiness of the person I rent to.
I know it can be hard to evict people who have children, so rather then sink myself with someone who does not pay their bills, I would like to check their credit history. Is this possible. How do other people check credit scores such as insurance companies and potential employers? How can I go about doing it?

I have three payday loans, an emergency happened and I needed cash quickly. So now that little loan turned into three. I've been paying interests on all three loans, but I can't afford to do this any longer. I know was dumb for dealing with these people in these the first place. I want to know if they can take legal action against me, If I stopped paying them. I will eventually pay them back(via collections)
